College students will be expected to bear greater responsibility for keeping with thereading assignment and making sure they understand the material. At thispoint, students should master reading comprehension because it is very crucial fortheir college life. Therefore the analyst wants to know how far their readingcomprehension capability because this definitely will affect their reading activities in the near future.This study is intended to discover the Englishlanguage education students batch 2018/2019’s reading comprehension capability. This study used descriptive methodand quantitative approach. The sample are 32 students. The instrument are 30multiple-choice as test items.The result showed that students' abilities are varied. 81.25% (26 of 32 students) are in the average, good, and very good categories. Meanwhile, 18.75% (6 of 32 students) are in poor category. It was also discovered that students' strengths can be found in finding specific information, making reference and finding the main idea. However, the weaknesses are on making inference and vocabulary aspects.It is suggested that students to learn about reading strategies called inferring to cover their weakness in making inference. On another hand to cover their weakness in understanding difficult vocabulary students can take a tip or two in the video link that the analyst gave.
