STUDY OF POTENTIAL DRUG INTERACTIONS’ HEART FAILURE PATIENT AT IN-PATIENT ULIN HOSPITAL INSTALLATION BANJARMASIN IN 2019 (by: Rahmaniah, Advisors: Difa Intannia & Herningtyas Nautika Lingga: 2020; 50  pages)

Heart failure is a clinical syndrome caused by the inability of the heart to pump the amount of blood. Therapy in heart failure patients uses more than one medication, so it triggers the potential drug interactions. The research aims to determine the percentage of potential drug interactions. The data of this research is obtained retrospectively and analyzed quantitative descriptive methods using literature Stockley's drug interaction, drug interaction facts, and Lexicomp Software. The research shows that the number of potential experience drug interactions on patients is (87.20%) or 218 from 250. Potential drug interactions based on the mechanism of interaction is 215 cases (54,29%) with pharmacodynamics mechanisms. Incidence of potential drug interaction cases of 2nd significance level was 66 cases (29,60%) and the severity of the study with Moderate level for 572 cases (72,50%). The average incidence of drug interactions is 4 interactions per one.
