DESCRIPTION OF CHARACTERISTICS AND TREATMENT PATTERNS FOR HEART FAILURE PATIENTS IN INPATIENT INSTALLATION AT ULIN HOSPITAL BANJARMASIN (Written by Rahmi; Supervisors: Difa Intannia & Herningtyas Nautika Lingga: 2020 ;  51 Pages)

The different characteristics of heart failure patients and treatment patterns can be caused by different risk factors and comorbidities.  The aim of this study was to determine patient characteristics and treatment patterns in comorbid and non-comorbid heart failure patients in the inpatient installation of Ulin Hospital Banjarmasin in 2019. Type of descriptive research, retrospective data collection using 250 medical records of patients.  This study shows the characteristics of patients based on age (years) 17-25 (1.2%), 26-35 (2.4%), 35-45 (9.6%), 46-55 (26.4%) 56  -65 (35.6%) and> 65 (24.8%), based on the sex of male patients (64.8%) and women (35.2%), based on length of stay (days) 1-3  (38.8%), 4-7 (52.4%) and> 7 (8.8%), based on an average CKMB of 42.27 U / L and based on comorbidities namely diabetes mellitus, hyperlipidemia, hypertension and others.  Based on the class of therapeutic drugs for heart failure namely loop diuretics, potassium-sparing diuretics, thiazides, ACEI, ARB, Beta Blockers and CCB for therapies outside of heart failure namely anticoagulants, antiplatelets, anti hyperlipidemia, antibiotic, antidiabetic, anti hyperuricemia and others.  Based on the dose of administration starting from 500 mcg - 3 g per day.  Based on the frequency of giving, namely 1x1 / 2, 1x1, 2x1, 3x1, 3x2, 3x4, 3x5, 3x6, 4x2 per day.  Based on the route of administration ie intravenous (46.82%), subcutaneous (4.12%), inhalation (2.43%) and oral (46.63%).
