Tigaron (Crateva adansonii) leaf is one of the nutritious natural ingredients of the Capparaceae family which is widely used empirically to help overcoming digestive disorders, urinary disorders and relieve skin irritation. These diseases are diseases that are generally caused by bacterial activity.This study aimed to discover secondary metabolites of C. adansoni ethanol extract and determine the antibacterial activity of the ethanol extract of C. adansonii leaves based on the diameter of the inhibitory zone. Crateva adansonii extraction was carried out by maceration method using 70% ethanol as its solvent. Antibacterial activity test was carried out on E. coli and S. aureus bacteria by disk diffusion method with concentrations of 80, 100, 120 and 140 ppm. Antibacterial activity test was done using ciprofloxacin as a positive control and aquadest as a negative control. Inhibition zone diameter results from ethanol extract of C. adansonii against E. coli and S. aureus bacteria showed no inhibition. The result of the diameter of ciprofloxacin inhibition zone in E. coli bacteria was 27.5 mm and in S. aureus bacteria was 15 mm. Ethanol extract of tigaron leaf (C. adansonii) contains alkaloid, phenolic, tritrpenoid, saponin and does  not have antibacterial activity against E. coli dan S. aureus bacteria with consentrations of 80, 100, 120, and 140 ppm.
