ABSTRAK 

 Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan urea moringa molasses multinutrient block (UMMMB) di dalam pakan terhadap libido dan konsentrasi hormon testosteron kambing Peranakan Etawa (PE). Sebanyak delapan ekor kambing PE jantan digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Empat ekor kambing PE diberikan hijauan rawa ad libitum tanpa pemberian UMMMB sebagai kontrol dan empat ekor diberikan hijauan rawa ad libitum + 200 g UMMMB per ekor. Peubah yang diamati pada penelitian ini adalah libido dan konsentrasi hormon testosteron. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan uji independent sample ttest dan diolah dengan progam SPSS versi 21. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan suplemen UMMMB di dalam pakan tidak berpengaruh terhadap libido dan konsentrasi hormon testosteron kambing PE. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian 200 g UMMMB tidak berpengaruh terhadap libido dan konsentrasi hormon testosteron kambing PE.

ABSTRACT 

 The aim of this study was to determine the effect of the use of urea moringa molases multinutrient block (UMMMB) on libido and testosterone hormone concentration of the Etawa Crossbreed (EC) goat. A total of eight mature male EC goats were used in this study. Four EC goats were given ad libitum swamp forages without UMMMB as a control and four other animals were given ad libitum swamp forages + 200 g UMMMB per head. The variables observed in this study were on libido and testosterone hormone concentration. The data obtained were analyzed using independent sample t-test and processed with SPSS version 21. The results of this study showed that supplementation of UMMMB in feed was no effect on libido and testosterone hormone concentration. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that administration of 200 g UMMMB has no effect on libido and testosterone hormone concentration.
