This study aims to determine the effect of intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation on learning outcomes of geography at SMA PGRI 4 Banjarmasin. This research is a quantitative descriptive study, the research subjects were all students of SMA PGRI 4 Banjarmasin. Class X, XI, XII students in the 2019/2020 academic year, totaling 76 students with a straight research sample of 76 students using proportional random sampling technique. Methods of data collection using questionnaires and documentation. The validity test was carried out by using the Product Moment correlation technique from Pearsion, while the reliability test used the Alpha Cronbach formula. The data analysis technique uses simple linear regression analysis technique.

               The results of this study indicate that Intrinsic Motivation has no negative and significant effect on Geography Learning Outcomes. is equal to -008. This means that it does not have a negative and significant effect on geography learning outcomes. And Extrinsic Motivation has an effect of 899. Intrinsic Motivation and Extrinsic Motivation together have a negative and significant influence on the Geography Learning Outcomes of Class X, XI, XII IPS SMA PGRI 4 Banjarmasin. Based on the t test, the t count is -448 and extrinsic motivation is 1,000 and t table is 1.99210. Because the results of this study indicate that there are no negative influences and some have an effect on learning outcomes in geography. So the higher the students 'learning motivation, the higher the geography learning outcomes, and if the lower the students' motivation to eat, the lower the geography learning outcomes because of the lack of intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation for student learning.
