Concerning pronunciation, English has sounds like voiced and voiceless, which may be difficult to pronounce, especially for some Indonesian Learners whose native language does not have those sounds. Multiple meanings can be found in these sounds if the speaker does not master voiced and voiceless sounds. This research aims to investigate how well the students’ ability in pronouncing voiced and voiceless sounds by students of English Language Education study program batch 2016.

The descriptive quantitative method is in this research, and the samples are 30 students of The English Language Education Study Program batch 2016. The researcher used the Pronunciation test as an instrument. The students were asked to pronounce the words while the researcher recorded their pronunciation. Then, the data were identified based on the Oxford dictionary and google translate as accurate as possible

The finding of this study shows that most of the students are able to pronounce the voiced and voiceless sound, and the average score is 86 with the qualification good.

Based on the finding, the researcher suggested that the students still need to practice in pronouncing voiced and voiceless sounds correctly. For the next researcher, the researcher expects there will be follow up studies that can support this study.
