 ABSTRAK

 

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui efektifitas perbandingan rasio induk jantan dan betina terhadap pemijahan ikan cupang. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Komplek Cintra Persada Asri (CPA) No 33, Kelurahan Sungai Besar Banjarbaru, Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 3 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan A (perbandingan rasio pemijahan induk 1 jantan dan 1 betina) Perlakuan B (perbandingan rasio pemijahan induk 1 jantan dan 2 betina) dan Perlakuan C              (perbandingan rasio pemijahan induk 1 jantan dan 3 betina). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai fekunditas tertinggi pada perlakuan A sebesar 201,33 butir, B yaitu 76,00 butir, C yaitu 6,67 butir. Hasil di peroleh tiap perlakuan berpengaruh nyata. Diameter telur ikan cupang yang tertinggi pada perlakuan A dengan rerata 0,65, pada perlakuan B yaitu 0,60 dan perlakuan C 0,10. Hasil diperoleh tiap perlakuan berpengaruh nyata.  Daya tetas telur ikan cupang tertinggi pada perlakuan A yaitu 79,48%, perlakuan B yaitu 54,17% dan perlakuan C yaitu 3,33%. Hasil  diperoleh tiap perlakuan berpengaruh nyata. Sintasanikan cupang tertinggi pada perlakuan A yaitu 66,18%, perlakuan B yaitu 45,19% dan perlakuan C yaitu 0,33%. Hasil diperoleh tiap perlakuan berpengaruh nyata. Perbandingan rasio induk jantan dan betina dengan perbandingan 1:1 sangat optimal terhadap pemijahan ikan cupang. Kisaran nilai kualitas air selama percobaan adalah suhu 26,1-27,5 oC, pH 5,53-7,33, DO 3,15-3,33 mg/l dan amoniak 0,005-0,025.

ABSTRACT

 

The research objective was to determine the effectiveness of the ratio of male and female broodstock to betta fish spawning. The research was conducted at Cintra Persada Asri Complex (CPA) No 33, Sungai Besar Banjarbaru Village, South Kalimantan Province. The research design used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 3 treatments and 3 replications. Treatment A (ratio of the spawning ratio of 1 male to 1 female) Treatment B (ratio of spawning ratios of 1 male to 2 female) and Treatment C (ratio of spawning ratios of 1 male to 3 female). The results showed the highest fecundity value in treatment A was 201.33 items, B was 76.00 items, C was 6.67 items. The results obtained for each treatment had a significant effect. The highest diameter of betta fish eggs was in treatment A with an average of 0.65, in treatment B was 0.60 and treatment C was 0.10. The results obtained by each treatment had a significant effect. The highest hatchability of betta fish eggs in treatment A was 79.48%, treatment B was 54.17% and treatment C was 3.33%. The results obtained by each treatment had a significant effect. The highest survival rate of betta fish was in treatment A that was 66.18%, treatment B was 45.19% and treatment C was 0.33%. The results obtained by each treatment had a significant effect. The ratio of male and female parents with a ratio of 1: 1 is very optimal for Betta fish spawning. The range of water quality values ??during the experiment was temperature 26.1-27.5 oC, pH 5.53-7.33, DO 3.15-3.33 mg / l and ammonia 0.005-0.025.
