Abstract

This research to describe the implementation of the scientific approach in the lesson plans made by Indonesian language teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Pelaihari and the implementation of these plans in teaching and learning process. This qualitative descriptive research data consists of teaching and learning activities of teachers and students. The data sources of this research are three Indonesian language teachers and students in class X, XI, and XII. The research data were collected by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed descriptively. The result of data analysis shows that the implementation of the scientific approach in Indonesian language learning have been implemented well. Starting from the lesson plan until the implementation of learning has met the standard scientific approach.
