Propagation conventionally produces saplings which are very limited to tundang banana. Therefore, to get lots of seeds and quickly do with tissue culture. This study aims to determine the interaction effect of explant growth of tundang banana hump on MS medium and determine the best interaction. This research was conducted at the Tissue Culture Laboratory of the Department of Agricultural Cultivation, Faculty of Agriculture, Lambung Mangkurat University, Banjarbaru from January to April 2020. This study used a two-factorial Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 4 levels of research. namely: MS, MS + BAP 5 mg L-1, MS + kinetin 4 mg L-1, MS + TDZ 2 mg L-1 and the second factor consisted of coconut water 100 ml L-1 and 150 ml L-1. From these experiments, 8 treatment combinations were obtained, each treatment was repeated 3 times, in order to obtain 24 experimental units. Each experimental unit consisted of 5 planted bottles with a total of 120 bottles. The results showed that the most optimal interaction was the percentage of live explants (%). The best treatment occurred in MS + BAP 5 mg L-1 + coconut water 100 mL L-1, MS + coconut water 150 mL L-1, MS + BAP 5 mg L-1 + coconut water 150 mL L-1, MS + kinetin 4 mg L-1 + coconut water 150 mL L-1, and MS + TDZ 2 mg L-1 + coconut water 150 mL L-1.The result is the same, namely 100.00%. at weeks 1, 2 and 5.
