ABSTRAK

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui persentase pemberian pakan sepat rawa yang baik untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan konversi pakan benih ikan toman.Penelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Samhurang, Kecamatan Labuan Amas Utara, Kabupaten Hulu Sungai Tengah, Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan. Desain penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 3 perlakuan dan 3 ulangan. Perlakuan A (pemberian pakan sepat rawa sebanyak 5% dari bobot biomassa), B (pemberian pakan sepat rawa sebanyak  6% dari bobot biomassa), dan C (pemberian pakan sepat rawa sebanyak  7% dari bobot biomassa). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pertumbuhan panjang mutlak tercepat pada perlakuan A dan C yaitu 3,30 cm, terendah perlakuan B yaitu 3,13 cm. Pertumbuhan bobot mutlak tercepat pada perlakuan B yaitu 3,39 g, diikuti perlakuan C yaitu 3,37 g, terendah perlakuan A yaitu 2,71 g. Konversi pakan terendah pada perlakuan A yaitu 1,12, diikuti perlakuan B yaitu 1,23, tertinggi perlakuan C yaitu 2,02. Efisiensi pakan tertinggi pada perlakuan A  yaitu 61,83%, diikuti perlakuan B yaitu  36,55%, terendah perlakuan C yaitu 32,28%. Kelangsungan hidup tertinggi pada perlakuan A yaitu 36,67%, diikuti perlakuan C yaitu 24,45%, terendah perlakuan B yaitu 23,33%. Pemberian pakan hewani sebanyak  5% dari bobot biomassa ini sangat optimal untuk pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup benih ikan toman. Kisaran nilai kualitas air selama percobaan adalah suhu 28,0-31,0 oC, pH 5,42-6,49, DO 3,0-5,5 mg/l dan amoniak < 0,01-0,29.

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study was to determine the percentage of good animal feed to increase the growth of toman fish benihe. The research was conducted in Samhurang Village, North Labuan Amas District, Hulu Sungai Tengah Regency, South Kalimantan Province. The research design used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 3 treatments and 3 replications. Treatment A (giving animal feed as much as 5% of the weight of biomass), B (giving animal feed as much as 6% of the weight of biomass), and C (giving animal feed as much as 7% of the weight of biomass). The results showed the fastest absolute length growth in treatments A and C was 3.30 cm, the lowest in treatment B was 3.13 cm. The fastest absolute weight growth was in treatment B, which was 3.39 g, followed by treatment C, which was 3.37 g, and the lowest in treatment A was 2.71 g. The lowest feed conversion was in treatment A, which was 1.12, followed by treatment B, which was 1.23, the highest was in treatment C, which was 2.02. The highest feed efficiency was in treatment A, which was 61.83%, followed by treatment B, which was 36.55%, and the lowest was in treatment C, which was 32.28%. The highest survival rate was in treatment A, which was 36.67%, followed by treatment C, which was 24.45%, and the lowest was in treatment B, which was 23.33%. Animal feed as much as 5% of the weight of this biomass is optimal for the growth and survival of toman fish benihe. The range of water quality values ??during the experiment was temperature 28.0-31.0 oC, pH 5.42-6.49, DO 3.0-5.5 mg/l and ammonia < 0.01-0.29.
