            Translation takes one important role as the tool for transferring and spread new ideas. In translating text and information from source text to target text, the translator needs to understand the knowledge in the text and also have a responsibility to transfer the information clearly to the readers. Every translator has several techniques to use in translating the text from source language to target language. This research aims to describe the analysis of translation technique in transferring information on the flight magazine entitled ‘Colours’, which is published by Garuda Indonesia Airlines. The translation technique introduced by Molina and Albir (2002) is the theory used for the research

This research is descriptive qualitative research. The object of this research is the travel section of flight magazine entitled Colours on February 2020 edition by Garuda Indonesia Airlines. The data was gained by reading the magazine, identifying, classifying the technique, analyzing the data, and conclusion.

The finding of the research shows that there are 14 translation techniques found in the data. They are namely adaptation, borrowing, amplification, calque, compensation, discursive creation, established equivalent, generalization, linguistic amplification, linguistic compression, literal translation, modulation, particularization, and reduction. The data consisted of 71 paragraphs in 5 articles on the travel section of Colours magazine and the total number of data is 662. The translator needs to add more explanation to make sure the readers understand the information. Further research can be conducted with more deep analysis through the translation technique in a flight magazine and other source data.
