 The purpose of this study was to determine (1) the relationship between leg muscle explosive power and volleyball smash ability in porprov athletes in Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency. (2) the relationship between the explosive power of the arm muscles and the ability to smash volleyball in porprov athletes in the South Hulu Sungai Regency. (3) the relationship between the explosive power of the leg muscles and the explosive power of the arm muscles with the ability to smash in volleyball in proprov athletes in the south upstream district.

This study uses a quantitative approach with the correlational method. The data analysis technique used is to test the normality of the data with the One-Sample Kolmogrov-Smirnov Test, the homogeneity test with the Test of homogeneity of Variance and the Linearity Test with the help of computer SPSS.

The population of this study were male volleyball athletes in Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency. The sample used is a sample of the entire population of 12 people with a data collection technique that is total sampling.

The results of the research analysis concluded that 1). There is a significant relationship between leg muscle explosive power and the smash ability of volleyball athletes in Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency. There is a significant relationship between leg muscle explosive power and the smash ability of volleyball athletes in Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency. 2). There is a significant relationship between arm muscle explosive power and the smash ability of volleyball athletes in Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency. 3). There is a significant relationship between the explosive power of the

 leg and arm muscles and the smash ability of volleyball athletes in Hulu Sungai Selatan Regency.
