This study aims to determine the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model to increase accounting learning activities in class XII social studies at SMA Negeri 1 Daha Utara for the 2019/2020 academic year.

This study uses a descriptive approach and qualitative research types to describe and describe the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model to improve accounting learning achievement in class XII social studies at SMA Negeri 1 Daha Utara for the 2019/2020 academic year. Data collection techniques with interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis using Milles and Huberman models.

Based on the results of the study, conclusions were obtained based on the results and discussion of the research results that have been disclosed in the previous chapter, it can be concluded that the application of the Problem Based Learning Learning Model can increase the Accounting Learning Achievement of Class XII Social Studies Students at SMA Negeri 1 Daha Utara for the Academic Year 2019/2020. This can be proven by the number of students who have achieved a score of Accounting Learning Activities in the first cycle as many as 5 students (16.13%) and in the second cycle as many as 29 students (100%). In addition, the research data also shows an increase in the indicators observed in the first cycle to the second cycle.
