The objective of the study is to find out students problems in translating the report text from Engleh into Bahasa Indonesia at the sixth semester of English Department of FKIP ULM Banjarmasin In this study, the writer takes the population of one class of translation class of soch semester of the students of English Department, Teacher Training and Education Faculty, ULM Banjarmasin (143 students)

Based on the result of the research, the problems made in the ambiguity type ware 15 words of all the words being translated by the subjects, 8 words in the lexical mismatches, and 18 words in tnultwords unit. So, the problem that found in this study is ambiguity, lexical mismatches, and multwords unit.
