ABSTRACT

Atifah (2021).  Analisis Valuasi Saham Dengan Menggunakan Metode Price Earning Ratio (PER), Price To Book Value (PBV), dan Price To Cash Flow Ratio (FCPR) Untuk Pengambilan Keputusan Investasi (Studi Empiris pada Perusahaan Sektor Consumer Goods yang Listing di Bursa Efek Indonesia). The purposes of this study were to determine the intrinsic value calculated using the PER, PBV, PCFR approach whether it is undervalued, correctly value, or overvalued. This research also aims to find out the right investment decision making after knowing the condition of the intrinsic value calculated using PER, PBV, and PCFR, and to determine which stock approach is the most accurate between PER, PBV, and PCFR by using the Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE) method.

The population in this study were the Consumer Goods companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange named 63 companies. The sample used in the study were 13 companies that met the sample criteria. Sampling in this study used purposive sampling method with judgment sampling technique.

The results of this study showed that an average of 13 companies assessed using Price to Earning Ratio (PER) and Price to Book Value (PBV) were undervalued or considered cheap, so you should buy these shares. While stock calculation using Price to Cash Flow Ratio (PCFR) resulted that average company being overvalued or considered expensive, hence it is better to sell the stock. The smallest Root Mean Square Error value is met by using the Price to Earning Ratio (PER) approach so that PER is the most accurate stock valuation.

Keywords: Price to Earning Ratio, Price to Book Value, Price to Cash Flow Ratio, Root Mean Square Error, and stock price.
