Tundang Banana (Musa Paradisiaca L) is a local banana native South Borneo. Propagation using a hump only gets 5-10 humps per year. In vitro culture technique are used as an alternative to produce banana with the same quality in a short time. This study aims to find the optimized combination the interaction effect of BAP (Benzylaminopurine) with sweet potato puree for multiplication of Tundang Banana. The method used in the study is a completely random design with 2 factors and three replications. The first factor is the BAP concentration, which contains four level : 0,0; 1,5; 3,0; and 4,0 mg l-1. The second factor is that the concentration of sweet potato includes three levels : 0, 150, 300 g l-1. Result of the study showed that interaction BAP and sweet potato gave the best for number of shoots and roots i.e. 9-12 wap (4 weeks after subculture) as well as percentage of browning, while the single factor of BAP gave the fastest for roots and the single factor sweet potato gave the best for percentage of live explant and contamination. Combination of m2b0 gave the best for number of shoot in 9 wap more than other threatment cobinations, except m0b0, m1b0, m3b0, and m3b1, i.e.10 &12 wap gave the best more than other  threatment cobinations, except  m1b0, and m3b0 and i.e. 11 wap gave the best more than other  threatment cobinations, except m1b0, m3b0, and m3b1. Combination of  m0b0 and m1b0  gave the best for number of roots compared to other combination, i.e. 9,00; 11,00; 12,00; and 12,67 roots. Combination of m0b0 and m1b0 gave the lower percentage of browning than other combination, except m2b0, m3b0, and m2b1. The single factor BAP factor m3 (1,5 mg l-1) gave the fastest more than other combination, except m2 (3,00 mg l-1). The single factor sweet potato 0 g l-1 and 250 g l-1 gave the best  for percentage of live explant and contamination, i.e. 66,66 % and 33,33%. The best of combination for the growth of hump explants Tundang banana i.e. m2b0 (BAP 3,0 mg l-1 + sweet potato 0 g l-1).
