Abstrak

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di UPT. PPBAT Mentaos Banjarbaru, Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama 29 hari dengan pemberian variasi pakan alami yang berbeda dan padat penebaran sebanyak 100 ekor/akuarium. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan yaitu dengan perlakuan A artemia 100%, perlakuan B cacing sutra 100%, perlakuan C daphnia 100%, perlakuan D cacing sutra 50%, daphnia 50% perlakuan, dengan parameter uji yaitu pertumbuhan bobot relatif, Panjang relatif, kelangsungan hidup dan sebagai penunjang kualitas air. Data hasil dari penelitian ini di analisisa dengan anova dan menunjukan bahwa larva ikan patin dengan pemberian variasi pakan alami yang berbeda berpengaruh sangat nyata terhadap pertumbuhan bobot relatif larva ikan patin dan kelangsungan hidup larva ikan patin, tetapi tidak berpengaruh nyata pada pertumbuhan panjang relatif larva ikan patin, pertumbuhan tertinggi pada perlakuan B cacing sutra (100%) tetapi optimum pada perlakuan A artemia 100%. Analisis kualitas air suhu, pH, DO, amoniak yang diukur dalam penelitian ini masih berada dalam kisaran yang optimal menunjang pertumbuhan dan kelangsungan hidup larva ikan patin.

Abstract

This research was conducted at UPT. PPBAT Mentaos Banjarbaru, South Kalimantan Province. This research was carried out for 29 days with the provision of different variations of natural feed and stocking density of 100 fish/aquarium. This research used a completely randomized design (CRD) with four treatments and three replications, namely with treatment A of 100% artemia, treatment B of 100% silkworms, treatment C of 100% daphnia, treatment D of 50% silkworms and 50% daphnia 50%, while the test parameters were relative weight growth, relative length, survival, and support of water quality. The data from this research were analyzed using ANOVA and showed that different natural feed variations had a very significant effect on the growth of the relative weight of iridescent catfish larvae and their survivability but had no significant effect on the growth of their relative length. The highest growth was in treatment B of 100% silkworms but was optimum in treatment A of 100% artemia. Analysis of water quality, temperature, pH, DO, and ammonia measured in this research were still within the optimal range to support the growth and survivability of iridescent catfish larvae.
