Textbooks are published printed material that is still a very important source of learning for students. In the form of a schoolbook, coursebook, workbook, or subject book, it served as a source and guide for teachers and students, containing exercises and references. The objective of this study is to determine whether the Bright An English textbook for seventh grade fulfills the BSNP criteria for a good textbook.

This study uses content analysis because it is concerned with analyzing the content of the textbook as data or document material. The textbook Bright an English for Junior High School seventh grade is used as the research subject in this study. This study's instrument is a document.

There are four elements in thisbook. These are content eligibility,presentation eligibility, language eligibility, and graphic eligibility. On the content eligibility element's side, all of the indicators are fulfilled clearly. On the side of the presentation eligibility element, not all of the indicators are fulfilled. The item that not fulfilled are balance of the inter-chapterand there is no list of symbol or nation, summary, index subject, glossary, and hint. On the side of language eligibility, all of the indicators are fulfilled clearly. For the graphic eligibility side, not all items of its indicators are fulfilled. These indicator is use too many combinations of fonts.Overall, the “Bright an English” is recommended to be use.
