Learning evaluation is the process of measuring and evaluating a learning. The purpose of the evaluation is to gather relevant information about student performance or progress. The aim of this research is to analyze of difficulty level of items of reading items on English summative test at SMAIT UKhuwwah Banjarmasin in academic year 2019/2020.

This research used descriptive qualitative design. The subject of this research were tenth grade students in SMAIT Ukhuwah Banjarmasin, from two class. The sample of the research is 45 students. The data were gathered from students’ answer sheet.

Based on the research result, the result of the existing the data of test reported that question of reading test item were classified difficult, 6 question of reading test were classified moderate and 1 question is easy.
