Tomato is one of the most favourite vegetable liked by Indonesian people because of its fresh and delicious taste. Tomato has good vitamins for the body, such as vitamin A, B and C, therefore, tomato has a high economic value. The number of pests and diseases in the field makes the tomato plants production decrease. The most occurred disease in tomato plant is Fusarium wilt disease. This disease is a soil borne disease that can inhibit the plants growth. The management practice usually use to controlthe Fusarium wilt disease is through the application of fungicides by spray method. Chemigation is method to control the soil borne disease which combines chemical material (fungicide) and irrigation. Therefore, this study was conducted to identify the effectiveness of chemigation method compared to spray. The study arranged in randomized block desaign factorial with two differents treatments, i.e.dose of fungicide (Benlox 50 wp 0,1, 2, 3 g L-1 ) and application method (spray and chemigation). The resulshowed that the chemigation application method was more effective in managing the Fusarium wilt disease than that spray.
