Guru merupakan komponen pendidikan yang sangat dominan dalam peningkatan mutu Pendidikan. Mutu sebuah lembaga sangat dipengaruhi oleh kinerja guru, tetapi ada faktor lain yang mempengaruhi kinerja guru seperti kecerdasan emosional, komitmen kerja, dan motivasi kerja. Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal melalui pengamatan tingkat kinerja guru masih rendah, seperti guru belum melaksanakan tugas dan fungsinya sesuai tuntutan profesi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendiskripsikan hubungan langsung antara kecerdasan emosional dengan kinerja; komitmen kerja dan kinerja guru; motivasi dengan kinerja; kecerdasan emosional dengan motivasi; komitmen kerja dengan motivasi, dan untuk menganalisis hubungan tidak langsung antara kecerdasan emosional dengan kinerja melalui motivasi; komitmen dengan kinerja melalui motivasi kerja.

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif, populasi penelitian adalah semua guru SD Negeri di Kecamatan Binuang Kabupaten Tapin sebanyak 172 orang. Jumlah sampel ditentukan berdasarkan rumus Slovindengan sampel 120 orang, teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah proportionate Random Sampling.

Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1). Kecerdasan Emosional, Komitmen Kerja, Motivasi Kerja masuk kategori tinggi, sedangkan kinerja rendah, 2) Terdapat hubungan langsung antara Kecerdasan Emosional dan Kinerja guru;  Komitmen Kerja dan Kinerja guru; motivai kerja dan Kinerja guru; Kecerdasan Emosional dan Motivasi Kerja; Komitmen Kerja dan Motivasi Kerja, 3) Terdapat hubungan tak langsung antara Kecerdasan Emosional dan Kinerja melalui Motivasi Kerja guru;  Komitmen Kerja dan Kinerja melalui Motivasi Kerja guru.

Kesimpulan: kecerdasan emosional dan komitmen kerja berhubungan secara langsung dan tidak langsung dengan kinerja guru melalui motivasi kerja guru.

Saran: hendaknya kepala sekolah lebih memperhatikan bawahannya khususnya dari aspek prestasi kerja yang dapat diwujudkan dengan memberikan penghargaan bagi guru yang menunjukkan prestasi kerja lebih baik, sehingga mampu memicu munculnya keinginan guru lainnya untuk menampilkan prestasi kerja yang maksimal. Kemudian untuk para peneliti yang lainnya hendaklah tidak terpaku hanya pada satu teori saja.

Teachers are a very dominant component of education in improving the quality of education. The quality of an institution is strongly influenced by teacher performance, but there are other factors that affect teacher performance such as emotional intelligence, work commitment, and work motivation. Based on the results of initial observations through observations the level of teacher performance is still low, such as teachers have not carried out their duties and functions according to the demands of the profession. This study aims to describe the direct relationship between emotional intelligence and performance; work commitment and teacher performance; motivation with performance; emotional intelligence with motivation; work commitment with motivation, and to analyze the indirect relationship between emotional intelligence and performance through motivation; commitment to performance through work motivation.

This study uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive method, the research population is all 172 public elementary school teachers in Binuang Sub District, Tapin District. The number of samples was determined based on the Slovin formula with a sample of 120 people, the sampling technique used was proportionate random sampling.

The results showed: 1). Emotional Intelligence, Work Commitment, Work Motivation are in the high category, while performance is low, 2) There is a direct relationship between Emotional Intelligence and teacher performance; Work Commitment and Teacher Performance; work motivation and teacher performance; Emotional Intelligence and Work Motivation; Work Commitment and Work Motivation, 3) There is an indirect relationship between Emotional Intelligence and Performance through Teacher Work Motivation; Work Commitment and Performance through Teacher Work Motivation.

Conclusion: emotional intelligence and work commitment are directly and indirectly related to teacher performance through teacher work motivation.

Suggestion: principals should pay more attention to their subordinates, especially from the aspect of work performance which can be realized by giving awards for teachers who show better work performance, so that they can trigger the emergence of the desire of other teachers to display maximum work performance. Then other researchers should not be fixated on just one theory.
