The use of peatlands for agriculture often creates problems related to its low fertility level and biophysics fragile land. To increase the productivity of peatlands in South Kalimantan, an alternative land management technology that can be done is the addition of compost. Coffee grounds can be used as an economical and environmentally friendly organic fertilizer because it contains macro nutrients that are useful for plant growth. This study aims to determine the potential of coffee grounds compost in increasing soil pH, growth, and production of edamame soybeans on peat soil. In addition, this study is also expected to determine the best dose of coffee grounds compost in increasing soil pH  growth, and production of edamame soybeans. This study used a single factor completely randomized design (CRD). The factor studied was the application of coffee grounds compost to edamame soybeans with 5 treatments, including k0 = 0 tons ha-1 (control), k1 = 5 tons ha-1, k2 = 10 tons ha-1, k3 = 15 tons ha-1, and k4 = 20 tons ha-1  of coffee grounds compost. The treatment was repeated five times, resulting in 25 experimental units. The results showed that the application of coffee grounds compost on peat soil with 20 tons ha-1  (k4) had a significant effect on increasing soil pH, plant height, and number of leaves, stem diameter, number of fresh pods per plant, and weight of fresh pods per plant were 37.87%; 43.88%; 54.34%; 60.81%; 85.22%; and 88.82%, while the leaf color parameter using the BWD method showed a dark green color in all treatments except for the control which had a yellowish green leaf color.
