Sudah 2 tahun lebih sejak Covid-19 dinyatakan sebagai pandemi di Indonesia, selama 2 tahun itu pula kita sebagai warga menemukan berbagai jenis informasi dari yang benar hingga salah mengenai Covid-19 dan berbagai variannya. Informasi berlebihan yang bisa dinamakan infodemik ini sendiri muncul dari berbagai sumber, salah satunya adalah media sosial. Selama pandemi sendiri kita perlu melakukan berbagai hal di rumah saja, sehingga kita lebih banyak mengakses media sosial untuk menemukan informasi sehingga mau tidak mau kita menerima berbagai informasi secara terus menerus. Oleh karena hal ini, peneliti mencari tahu dampak dari infodemik di Indonesia selama Pandemi Covid-19 melalui berita yang dituliskan oleh tim cek fakta kompas.com tentang informasi yang bertebaran mengenai Covid-19 di Media Sosial melalui metode Analisis Isi Kualitatif dengan menganalisis berita-berita tersebut dengan konsep Westerstahl terlebih dahulu untuk mengetahui objektivitas berita yang dituliskan. Peneliti menemukan bahwa infodemik ini disebabkan oleh literasi digital yang rendah dan hal ini menyebabkan berbagai hal seperti misalnya information overload pada individu yang menerima informasi terus menerus, peneliti juga telah menemukan beberapa solusi yang dapat digunakan untuk mencegah infodemik tak terkontrol di Indonesia. Semoga dengan ini, kedepannya Indonesia bisa lebih baik dalam mengontrol fenomena seperti Infodemik.

It has been two years since Covid-19 announced as a Pandemic in Indonesia, and for that two years we as citizen found so many kinds of information, from the right one until the wrong one about Covid-19 and it variants. This too much information that we could call it as infodemic appeared from many source, one of them is social media. During the pandemic, we tend to do things just from home and then we tend to access social media to find informations, so whether we want it or not we will receive so many kinds of informations non-stop. Because of that, researcher is finding out the impact from infodemic during the Pandemic of Covid-19 through the news that written by kompas.com fact check team about Covid-19 that has spreaded around in social media using qualitative content analysis method by analyze the news with Westerstahl concept to know the objectivity of the news. Researcher found that infodemic is caused by low digital literacy and this thing caused so many things such as information overload on each individual that receive so many informations non-stop. Researcher also find some solution that can be use to prevent uncontrollable infodemic in Indonesia. Hopefully this can help Indonesia to do better at preventing phenomenon such as infodemic.
