This research is an evaluation study of land suitability for the cultivation of robusta coffee (Coffea canephora) in Basarang District, Kapuas Regency, Central Kalimantan. The purpose of this research activity is to determine the actual and potential land suitability classes at the research site. The method used is the matching of all primary data in the form of testing data on physical and chemical soil properties in the laboratory and secondary data in the form of climate data at the research location with the growth characteristics of robusta coffee (Coffea canephora), which will then produce land suitability classes and their limiting factors. The results of the matching process will then be interpreted into a map unit of actual and potential land suitability. Actual land suitability is the present land use without any improvement. Potential land suitability is the condition of the land after recommendations for improvement have been given. Based on the research that has been done, it is actually categorized as N2 (very unsuitable) and potentially can be categorized as S2 (Suitable) covering an area of 164.3 km2, and S3 (Marginal Appropriate) covering an area of 31 km2 and N2 (Highly inappropriate) covering an area of 21, 5 km2 for robusta coffee cultivation.
