Most of the students have problems in learning English. It is not easy to improve students English speaking skills because students do not use English in their daily speeches. It is difficult for Indonesian students to speak well because the pronunciation is different from their native language. This research aims to find out the problems that students have in English learning. The subjects of this study are MAN 2 Banjarmasin students in the 2020/2021 academic year. This research adopts descriptive research and qualitative research combined method through student questionnaire survey and teacher interview to find out the problems existing in students English learning. The data of this study come from the results of interviews with students and teachers while the questionnaire data are used to select the subjects to be interviewed. 2 Banjarmasin is low and needs to increase most of the students are facing problems. Most students cant speak English clearly and its hard to say English words phrases and sentences. These problems make them find it difficult to say everything in English and they suggest that not only the students but also the teachers and the school work together to solve the speaking problems. In order for them to speak English well the teacher can let them practice as much as possible or the school can plan a new course related to school oral English to help students who have problems with oral English.
