ABSTRAK

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk menganalisis pengaruh bobot indukan betina ikan papuyu terhadap beberapa parameter repruduksi. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama  1 bulan. Penelitian menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri dari perlakuan A (30,52 gram), perlakuan B (35,52 gram), perlakuan C (40,52 gram) dan perlakuan D (50,69 gram). Parameter yang diamati yaitu fekunditas, diameter telur, derajat pembuahan, derajat penetasan dan kelangsungan hidup dan kualitas air. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bobot induk betina berpengaruh nyata terhadap keberhasilan pemijahan ikan papuyu di dalam wadah budidaya. Fekunditas yang terbaik pada perlakuan D dengan bobot induk 50-52 gram dengan nilai 10710 butir telur, diameter telur 0,59 mm, derajat pembuahan 92,40%, Derajat penetasan 89,08% dan pada kelangsungan hidup larva ikan papuyu sebesar 82,40%. Kualitas air selama penelitian masih berada pada batas toleransi yang menunjang kehidupan ikan papuyu yaitu suhu  (27,5-28⁰C), DO (2,89-3,21 mg/L) dan pH (7,54-7,55).

ABSTRACT

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the weight of the female brood of papuyu fish on several parameters of repruduction. The study was carried out for 1 month. The study used a Complete Randomized Design (RAL) with 4 treatments and 3 repeats. The treatment consists of treatment A (30,52 grams), treatment B (35,52 grams), treatment C (40,52 grams) and treatment D (50,69 grams). The observed parameters are fecundity, egg diameter, degree of fertilization, degree of hatching and survival and water quality. The results showed that the weight of the female brood had a significant effect on the successful spawning of papuyu fish in the cultivation container. Fecundity in the D treatment with a brood weight of 50-52 grams with a value of 10710 eggs, egg diameter 0.59 mm, fertilization degree 92.40%, Hatching degree 89.08% and on survival of papuyu fish larvae of 82.40%. Water quality during the study was still at the tolerance limit that supports the life of papuyu fish, namely temperature (27.5-280C), DO (2.89-3.21 mg / L) and pH (7.54-7.55).
