SUBSTITUTION OF MAGGOT AND TERMITE FLOUR ON FISH MEAL TO THE GROWTH OF CLIMBING PERCH SEEDS (Anabas testudineus)

Abstrak

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan menganalisis kualitas nutrisi pakan, persentase dan efektivitas pengaruh pada substitusi tepung ikan dengan tepung anai-anai dan maggot terhadap pertumbuhan benih ikan papuyu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 3 kali ulangan dengan jumlah 12 unit perlakuan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan 3 tahapan yaitu uji fisik pakan (stabilisasi pakan dalam air, tingkat homogenitas, kecepatan tenggelam, daya pikat dan daya simpan pakan), uji kimia pakan (Analisis proksimat dari protein, lemak, BETN, serat kasar, abu dan air) dan uji biologi pakan (kelangsungan hidup, berat mutlak dan relatif, panjang mutlak, konversi rasio pakan, efesiensi pakan dan kualitas air). Pada uji fisik pakan didapat bahwa rata-rata kecepatan pecah >24jam, tingkat homogenitas ±4,26gram, kecepatan tenggelam ±4,15cm/s, daya pikat <5detik dan daya simpan ±2.5 bulan. Uji kimia pakan didapat bahwa protein teringgi pada perlakuan D 25,45%, lemak 18,69%, serat kasar 10,43%. Pada uji biologi pakan 40 hari masa pemeliharaan benih ikan papuyu bahwa berat mutlak, konversi rasio pakan dan efesiensi pakan berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan benih ikan papuyu, sedangkan kelangsungan hidup, bobot relatif, panjang mutlak, panjang relatif, tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan benih ikan papuyu.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing the nutritional quality of the feed, the percentage and the effectiveness of the effect of substitution of fish meal with termite flour and maggot on the growth of papuyu fish seeds. This research was conducted using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 3 replications with a total of 12 treatment units. Research II was carried out in 3 stages, namely feed physical testing (feed stabilization in water, level of homogeneity, sinking speed, allure and shelf life of feed), feed chemical test (proximate analysis of protein, fat, BETN, crude fiber, ash and water). and feed biology tests (survival, absolute and relative weight, absolute length, feed conversion ratio, feed efficiency and water quality). In the physical test of the feed, it was found that the average breaking speed was >24 hours, the level of homogeneity was ±4.26 grams, the sinking speed was ±4.15 cm/s, the lure was <5 seconds and the shelf life was ±2.5 months. Feed chemical tests found that the highest protein in treatment D was 25.45%, fat 18.69%, crude fiber 10.43%. In the 40-day feed biology test for rearing Climbing perch, absolute weight, feed conversion ratio and feed efficiency significantly affected the growth of climbing perch while survival, relative weight, absolute length, relative length did not significantly affect the growth of climbing perch seeds.
