Aplikasi School Smart System merupakan media baru di pendidikan kalimantan selatan yang bertujuan untuk mendekatkan pihak sekolah (guru) dengan orang tua siswa serta membantu orang tua siswa mendapatkan informasi perkembangan maupun aktivitas anak disekolah sekaligus mempermudah pekerjaan guru di sekolah dalam proses mengajar dan mengelola data-data penting yang ada di sekolah secara modern dan professional, serta mengurangi kesalahpahaman antara guru dengan orang tua siswa, dan transparannya informasi yang diberikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana Pengaruh Efektivitas Komunikasi melalui Aplikasi School Smart System bagi Orang Tua di SMPN 3 Martapura

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan tipe penelitian deskriptif. Jumlah populasi 510 orang tua siswa di SMPN 3 Martapura. Sampel diambil sebnayak 205 orang, teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode sampel random sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner yang sudah diuji validitas dan realibilitas, penentuan skor menggunakan 4 (empat) skala likert, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif.

Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa variabel Efektivitas Komunikasi Pada Aplikasi School Smart Systemcukup efektif dengan persentase 68,3%.Hal ini menunjukan setiap individu yang menggunakan aplikasi School Smart System menerima informasi yang diberikan. Dengan demikian, bisa disimpulkan bahwa Aplikasi School Smart System cukup Efektif bagi Orang Tua Siswa di SMPN 3 Martapura.

               The School Smart System application is a new media in education in South Kalimantan which aims to bring the school (teachers) closer to students' parents and help parents get information on the development and activities of children at school while facilitating the work of teachers in schools in the teaching process and managing data. Important things that exist in schools in a modern and professional manner, as well as reducing misunderstandings between teachers and parents, and the transparency of the information provided. This study aims to find out how the Effectiveness of Communication through the School Smart System Application for Parents at SMPN 3 Martapura.

               This study uses a quantitative approach with descriptive research type. The total population is 510 parents of students at SMPN 3 Martapura. The sample was taken as many as 205 people, the sampling technique was done by random sampling method. Data were collected using a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability, scoring was determined using 4 (four) Likert scales, while data analysis used descriptive analysis.

               The results showed that the variable of Communication Effectiveness in the School Smart System Application was quite effective with a percentage of 68.3%. This shows that every individual who uses the School Smart System application receives the information provided. Thus, it can be concluded that the School Smart System application is quite effective for parents of students at SMPN 3 Martapura.
