PERANAN CONNECTEDNESS TO NATURE TERHADAP PERILAKU PRO-LINGKUNGAN PADA MASYARAKAT PENDULANGAN

 INTAN DI DESA PUMPUNG KECAMATAN CEMPAKA

Hubungan timbal balik antara manusia dengan alam sekitar pendulangan intan secara langsung denganperasaan, kognitif, mental, dan refleksi pikiran, mengenai alam memberikan dampak positif dan negatifnya sehingga menimbulkan keinginan agar terus menjaga lingkungan tetap hijau dan lingkungan terjaga yaitu melalui perilaku pro-lingkungan, dan connectedness to nature merupakan salah satu prediktor mempengaruhi seseorang untuk ikut serta dan termotivasi melakukan perilaku pro-lingkunganPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peranan connectedness to nature terhadap perilaku pro-lingkungan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode survei korelasional dengan total 171 responden masyarakat pendulangan intan di Desa Pumpung Kecamatan Cempaka dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data diperoleh melalui survei luring dengan menggunakan 2 alat ukur yang valid dan reliabel terdiri dari skala perilaku pro-lingkungan dan connectedness to nature. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis uji regresi linear sederhana dengan hasil connectedness to nature memiliki peranan yang signifikan pada perilaku pro-lingkungan.

THE ROLE OF CONNECTEDNESS TO NATURE TO PRO ENVIRONMENTAL BEHAVIOR IN MINING COMMUNITIES INTAN IN PUMPUNG VILLAGE CEMPAKA DISTRICT

The reciprocal relationship between humans and the environment around diamond panning sites, directly with feelings, cognitive state, mentality, and thought reflections regarding the nature, has positive and negative impacts. This generates the desire to continue to keep the environment green and maintained, namely through pro-environmental behavior. Connectedness to nature is one of the predictors influencing a person to participate and be motivated to carry out pro-environmental behavior. This study aims to investigate the role of connectedness to nature towards pro-environmental behavior. A correlational survey method was employed in this study with a total of 171 respondents from the diamond panning community in Pumpung Village, Cempaka Sub-district, using a purposive sampling technique. Data were obtained through an offline survey using 2 valid and reliable measurement instruments consisting of a pro-environmental behavior scale and a connectedness to nature scale. The results of the simple linear regression analysis showed that the connectedness to nature had a significant role towards pro-environmental behavior.
