Selama ini, di saat panen petani dihadapkan pada situasi tanpa pilihan kecuali menjual padi segera mungkin setelah panen kepada tengkulak, saat dimana harga cenderung rendah. Harga pasar yang ditetapkan pemerintah atas hasil panen padi dalam prakteknya tidak optimal memberikan dampak buruk kepada petani. Nilai yang diterima atas hasil penjualan padi seringkali tidak memadai, baik untuk mendukung kehidupan yang layak bagi dirinya dan keluargnya, atau lebih jauh lagi menjadi modal produksi/tanam musim selanjutnya Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan memahami bagaimana dampak keberadaan Resi Gudang terhadap perubahan sosial ekonomi petani  di Desa Puntik Tengah Kecamatan Mandastana Kabupaten Barito Kuala. Selama ini proses pertanian hanya dilakukan secara tradisional sebelum masuknya Resi Gudang. Penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan teori perubahan sosial dari Gerhard Lenski dan menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif.

Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perubahan petani dapat dilihat pada perubahan sistem, ekonomi, dan kultur yang sangat besar berpengaruh pada proses petani dalam mengelola pertanian sekarang dalam keberadaan resi gudang. Berdasarkan teori perubahan sosial yang dikemukakan oleh Gerhard Lenski. Proses pertanian padi yang dilakukan petani terhadap perubahan sosial dengan adanya resi gudang yang didasarkan pada beberapa komponen seperti keberlanjutan, inovasi dan kepunahan. Petani terbantu seperti mendapatkan bibit banih, talangan dana secara resi gudang, barang buktinya mendapatkan kwitansi atau surat berharga. Sedangk kehidupan petani dahulu untuk menjalankan proses pertanian mereka yang awalnya mendapatkan talangan dana dengan tetangga atau orang terdekat yang memiliki hubungan erat.

               So far, at harvest time, farmers have been faced with a situation with no choice but to sell their paddy as soon as possible after harvest to middlemen, when prices tend to be low. In practice, the market price set by the government for rice yields is not optimal, which has a negative impact on farmers. The value received from the sale of rice is often inadequate, either to support a decent life for himself and his family, or furthermore to become capital for production/planting the following season. This study aims to find out and understand how the impact of the presence of Warehouse Receipts has on the socio-economic changes of farmers in the Middle Puntik Village, Mandastana District, Barito Kuala Regency. So far, the agricultural process has only been carried out traditionally before the entry of Warehouse Receipts. This study was analyzed using social change theory from Gerhard Lenski and using a qualitative method with a qualitative descriptive research type.

The results of this study indicate that changes
in farmers can be seen in system, economic, and cultural changes that greatly
affect the farmers' process of managing agriculture today in the presence of
warehouse receipts. Based on the theory of social change put forward by Gerhard
Lenski. The rice farming process carried out by farmers towards social change
with the existence of warehouse receipts is based on several components such as
sustainability, innovation and extinction. Farmers are assisted such as getting
seed, bailout of funds through warehouse receipts, receipts or securities as
evidence. While the life of farmers used to carry out their agricultural
processes, which initially received bailouts with neighbors or closest people who
had close relationships.
