Hadirnya  objek  pariwisata  baru  dalam  kehidupan  masyarakat  menjadi salah satu perubahan yang cukup signifikan yang dirasakan oleh masyarakat terutama pada masyarakat Desa Sungai Dua Laut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses terjadinya perubahan sosial yang dialami oleh masyarakat terhadap hadirnya pariwisata Pantai Tebing di Desa Sungai Dua Laut Kecamatan Sungai  Loban  Kabupaten  Tanah  Bumbu.  Penelitian  ini  dianalsisis menggunakan   konsep   manifes   dan   laten   dari   Robert   K.   Merton   serta menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif-kualitatif. Dari hasil penelitian ini didapatkan bagaimana cara masyarakat menerima perubahan yang ada akibat dari hadirnya objek pariwisata Pantai Tebing. Ditemukan bahwa adanya nilai norma baru yanng diterapkan yaitu sapta pesona yang terdiri dari 7 unsur yaitu 1) Aman, 2) Tertib, 3) Bersih, 4) Sejuk, 5) Indah, 6) Ramah tamah, dan 7) Kenangan. Selain itu adanya fungsi manifes yaitu perubahan secara sadar dan direncanakan seperti meningkatnya solidaritas masyarakat terhadap berdirinya organisasi pemuda membangun desa (PMD), aksi peduli lingkungan, pemanfaatan lahan non-produktif, keterbukaan masyarakat terhadap hal-hal   baru,   serta   adanya   fungsi   laten   dari   adanya   organisasi   Pemuda Membangun Desa (PMD) seperti adanya kepedulian komunitas luar daerah Desa Sungai Dua Laut terhadap kondisi masyarakat Desa Sungai Dua Laut serta adanya proses penerimaan masyarakat terhadap orang asing. Kemudian adanya konsep manifes terhadap bangkitnya organisasi Pemuda Sahabat Laut (PSL) yang kemudian adanya pengawasan lingkungan pantai dan laut serta adanya pemandu wisata yang dilakukan oleh anggota Pemuda Sahabat Laut (PSL)

The presence of a new tourism object in people's lives is one of the significant changes  felt  by the community,  especially in  the people of  Sungai  Dua  Laut Village. This study aims to find out how the process of social change experienced by the community towards the presence of Tebing Beach tourism in Sungai Dua Laut  Village,  Sungai  Loban  District,  Tanah  Bumbu Regency.  This  study  was analyzed using the manifest and latent concepts of Robert K. Merton and using qualitative methods with a descriptive-qualitative type of research. From the results of this study, it was found how the community accepted the changes that were due to the presence of the Tebing Beach tourism object. It was found that there is a new norm value that is applied, namely Sapta Pesona which consists of 7 elements, namely 1) Safe, 2) Orderly, 3) Clean, 4) Cool, 5) Beautiful, 6) Friendly, and 7) Memories. In addition, there is a manifest function, namely conscious and planned change, such as increasing community solidarity with the establishment of youth organizations to build villages (PMD), environmental care actions, non-productive land use, community openness to new things, and the latent function of the organization. Youth Builds Villages (PMD) such as the concern of the community outside the Sungai Dua Laut Village area for the condition of the people of Sungai Dua Laut Village and the process of community acceptance of foreigners. Then there is a manifest concept of the rise of the Sea Friendly Youth organization (PSL) which then has monitoring of the beach and marine environment and the existence of tour guides carried out by members of the Sea Friendly Youth (PSL)
