This study aims to determine the results of Student Response to the 

Elimination of Class XII PJOK in the Curriculum in Hulu Sungai Utara Regency

for the 2022/2023 Academic Year. Based on the Regulation of the Director 

General of Primary and Secondary Education (PERDIRJEN) of the Ministry of 

Education and Culture Number: 07 / D.D5 / KK / 2018 concerning the Curriculum 

Structure of Vocational High Schools (SMK) / Madrasah Aliyah Vocational 

(MAK) that PJOK subjects in class XII are eliminated.

The method used in this study is a survey method with quantitative 

descriptive data analysis using questionnaires distributed to grade XI and XII 

students of SMKN throughout Hulu Sungai Utara Regency for the 2022/2023 

academic year.

The population in this study was all students of SMKN in Hulu Sungai 

Utara Regency which amounted to 2162 students. As a sample of this study were 

students of grades XI and XII of SMKN throughout Hulu Sungai Utara Regency

totaling 1303 students taken using purposive sampling techniques.

From the data from the research that has been analyzed shows that the 

response of SMKN students to the elimination of PJOK in Hulu Sungai Utara 

Regency is "Strongly Disagree" with a percentage value of 16,19%, "Disagree" 

of 75,90%, "Agree" of 6,06% and "Strongly Agree" of 1,84%.

Based on the data analysis in this study, it can be concluded that the 

response of SMKN students to the elimination of class XII PJOK in the curriculum 

in Hulu Sungai Utara is in the "Disagree" category.
