Penelitian ini dilakukan di Pesisir Desa Tabanio Kabupaten Tanah Laut Provinsi Kalimantan Selatan. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengkaji kelimpahan dan keanekaragaman bivalvia serta hubungannya dengan kerapatan mangrove di lokasi penelitian tersebut. Kelimpahan bivalvia berbeda di tiga stasiun dengan indeks keanekaragaman sedang. Jenis bivalvia termasuk Glauconome virens, Anadara granosa, Pharella acutidens, Placamen chloroticum, Anadara ehrenbergi, dan Paphia amabilis. Kerapatan mangrove juga berbeda di tiga stasiun, dengan tingkat kerapatan sangat padat, sedang, dan jarang. Jenis mangrove mencakup Avicennia alba, Rhizophora mucronata, Nypa fruiticans, Sonneratia alba, dan Sonneratia caseolaris. Hubungan antara kelimpahan bivalvia dan kerapatan mangrove memiliki koefisien korelasi rendah (r = 0,3648).

This research was conducted on the coast of Tabanio Village, Tanah Laut Regency, South Kalimantan Province. This research aims to examine the abundance and diversity of bivalves and their relationship with mangrove density at the research location. The abundance of bivalves differed at three stations with a medium diversity index. Types of bivalves include Glauconome virens, Anadara granosa, Pharella acutidens, Placamen chloroticum, Anadara ehrenbergi, and Paphia amabilis. Mangrove density also differs at the three stations, with very dense, medium and sparse density levels. Mangrove types include Avicennia alba, Rhizophora mucronata, Nypa fruiticans, Sonneratia alba, and Sonneratia caseolaris. The relationship between bivalve abundance and mangrove density has a low correlation coefficient (r = 0.3648).
