Abstract

This study aimed about the use of technology is highly recommended in this modern era especially in the process of teaching learning English for students. The researcher combined the balance between teaching goals and learning outcomes from the previous studies about what has been learned. One of the familiar modern learning in this era is Youtube The eminent and the most searches online video-sharing sevice related to the young people nowadays especially for the interesting way to find the alternative of learning English. YouTube as the ideal education learning media as well as the tools to improve the teachers’ teaching and students’ interest in learning with various ways. Moreover, the prior’s studies included existing papers of using the modern learning medium in this era, YouTube in the process of teaching learning English activities. This study contains similar review related of the YouTube as the learning media’s journal of articles and a conference proceeding to input knowledge of benefits and constraints of using YouTube-based videos are used in the classroom. The method used in this research is SLR (Systematic Literature Review) in which researcher collect articles related to YouTube applications with a publication period of 2018 until 2023, strategies in teaching learning of speaking skill to be documented and reviewed as supporting data for this research. Based on this research the results are; 1) The researches show Youtube app towards the purpose and relevance in teaching speaking skill for students especially for their development to encourage their productive conversations, 2) There is evidence that YouTube app verify as the positive tools feedback in teaching speaking skills for students and the teacher, 3) YouTube can help students learn vocabulary and become more motivated to study English.
