The sasirangan industry has great potential to pollute the environment considering the large number of pollutants, especially B3 waste (hazardous and toxic substances) contained in sasirangan wastewater. Pollutants in Sasirangan wastewater come from various processes, from preparation, coloring to finishing. This research aims to determine the water quality of the Martapura River in the Sasirangan Village area, Sungai Jingah Village in North Banjarmasin District. This research is included in the type of quantitative descriptive research. The population in this study was the water of the Martapura River, Sungai Jingah sub-district, North Banjarmasin sub-district. Researchers chose the Martapura River area as a research location because there is a sasirangan industry located around the river and there are still some residents who use river water for community needs. The sample used in this research used Systematic Random Sampling. Data analysis uses field and laboratory sample tests. The results in the field will be analyzed and tested in the laboratory to explain the researchers' findings. To analyze the data obtained, it will be analyzed using physical and chemical parameters which can be indicated starting from Taste, Odor, Temperature, Color, Turbidity, TSS, pH, COD, BOD, Ammonia. After conducting research, the results of the analysis of color content, turbidity and pH that exceed the threshold due to industrial wastewater from the Martapura River in the Sasirangan Village area, Sungai Jingah Village in North Banjarmasin District will cause environmental pollution, especially the aquatic ecosystem, so more in-depth research is needed regarding Martapura River water pollution.
