Podzolic soils are soils that have an argillic B horizon, with base saturation (NH4OAc) <30% in the B horizon, generally found in areas with an average annual rainfall of 2,500-3,000 mm, topography undulating to hilly, vegetation, tropical rain forest such as reeds, melastoma, and ferns. N is a very important macronutrient and is needed by plants in large quantities, N is a very mobile element and only about 70% can be used by plants, while the other 30% is lost. This can happen because N compounds are easily dissolved and easily lost. in drainage water, leaching, and evaporating into the atmosphere. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of various kinds of compost derived from banana peels, pineapple peels, coffee grounds and derived from Gamal leaves and kirinyuh leaves on N availability in podzolic soils, namely whether composting pineapple peels, banana peels, coffee grounds and Gamal leaves, kirinyuh affect N availability in podzolic soils
