Tidal swamp land is an area where water availability is greatly influenced by the ebb and flow movements on the surface of rivers. Acid sulfate soils are commonly found in tidal swamp land. Naturally, tidal swamp areas exhibit topographical differences from the coastal region towards the upstream direction of the river, with elevations generally increasing as they move away from sea level (dpl). This research was conducted on acid sulfate soil in the village of Putik Tengah, Barito Kuala Regency, South Kalimantan Province. Soil analysis was carried out at the Soil Department Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Lambung Mangkurat University in Banjarbaru, during the research period from March 21 to May 3, 2023. The aim of this research is to predict the existence of relationships and the form of relationships between soil color RGB (Red, Green, and Blue) and HVC (Hue, Value, and Chroma) to Field pH, H2O2 pH, Soluble Iron (Fe), Organic Matter Content, and Water Content. This study employed a field research approach using a survey method with a descriptive-exploratory approach. Field sample collection was done through purposive sampling, taking 33 points, resulting in a total of 98 samples. Of these, 30 samples were analyzed by grouping the same Hue (HVC) levels. In the studied acid sulfate land, there is a relationship and form of relationship between soil color R (RGB) and value-chroma (HVC) to pH H2O2.
