THE EFFECT CONCENTRATION VARIATION AND VOLUME VARIATION OF EXTRACT HARUAN FISH (Channa striata) AGAINST CHARACTERIZATION NANOPARTICLE KITOSAN-TRIPILOFOSFAT WITH IONIC GELATION METHOD

Haruan fish (Channa striata) is proven to help wound healing because it contains amino acids essential and proteins. One new alternative in developing drug delivery systems is nanoparticle technology. The form of haruan extract nanoparticles can improve the stability of amino acid and protein components. The aim of this study was to explain the effect of variations in the concentration of Haruan extracts and variations in volume of Haruan extracts (Channa striata) on the particle size characteristics of chitosan-tripolyphosphate nanoparticles. The method of making haruan nanoparticles in this study used an ionic gelation method with a fixed ratio of chitosan volume: tripolyphosphate = 5: 1 and characterization of nanoparicel extracts including particle size and particle size distribution with Particle Size Analyzer (PSA). The results of this study an increase in size at F4, F5 and F6, which was 318.5 nm, 361.1 nm and 403.5 nm. The variation of the volume of extract of 5 ml of haruan fish in F1, F2 and F3 resulted in particle sizes of 1679.3 nm, 1114 nm and 1554 nm. The particle size distribution values of F1, F2, F3, F4, F5, F6 and F7 are 0.201; 0,560; 0,560; 0.452; 0.552; 0.529; and 0.404.
