Interpreting the cultural context in translation is profoundly influenced by ideology in translation. It acknowledges the importance of ideology in both the decision-making process of translations as source language (SL) and the reception of the target language (TL).  The objective of this chapter is to determine the most suitable ideology in cultural terms translation. The data in this chapter is collected from journals, books, and movie subtitle translations that relate to cross-cultural translation. Systematic Literature Review (SLR) is used to collect, analyze, and conclude the results of data sources. Based on the results of the data, the preference of ideology in cultural terms translation is established on the translation purpose and intended audience of the target language. In conclusion, the translator can decide the most appropriate ideology in cultural terms translation depends on the aims of translation and the target audience to deliver the equivalence message of the translation product.
