Coffee is one of the main plantation commodities developed in Indonesia. Robusta coffee propagation generatively takes a long time, besides that it will form a new population with varied yield characteristics so that the superior characteristics of the parent are not inherited intact. By propagating cuttings, the superior traits of robusta coffee plants can be inherited exactly the same as their parents. To optimize the development of coffee plant cuttings, the addition of growth regulators is required. This study looked at the effect of bean sprouts solution on the growth of robusta coffee cuttings and to find out the best concentration in increasing the growth of robusta coffee cuttings. This research took place at the experimental field which owned by Faculty of Agriculture Lambung Mangkurat University in August-September 2023. The observation data obtained in this research was analyzed using one-factor Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 6 treatment levels, namely: t0 = Root up, t1 = 30% bean sprout solution, t2 = 40% bean sprout solution, t3 = 50% bean sprout solution, t4 = 60% bean sprout solution, and t5 = 70% bean sprout solution, with 5 replications with 3 plants so that 90 experimental units were obtained. The results showed that the application of bean sprouts solution on the growth of robusta coffee cuttings did not clearly have significant affect to the parameters of shoot emergence time and percentage of live cuttings.
