This study aims to assess the compatibility of the textbook with the BSNP textbook criteria and whether it is suitable to be used as the primary learning material. Several studies have examined the compatibility of textbooks, but only a few have assessed using the BSNP criteria as a basis for assessment, especially for junior high school textbooks. This study is required, considering that BSNP is the standard basis in education in Indonesia. This study aims to analyze the compatibility of the seventh-grade English textbook entitled "Let's Get It!" published by Yrama Widya to determine if it is sufficient to be used based on BSNP textbook criteria.

The design and approach in this study use descriptive-quantitative research to answer the research question. The researcher used the textbook analysis design of document analysis as a research design. The method used in this study is quantitative document analysis because these methods rely on objective measurements and mathematical analysis of data samples obtained through questionnaires, polls, tests, or other research instruments to prove or test the hypotheses proposed in the research.

The results obtained by the researcher in assessing the textbook "Let's Get It!" published by Yrama Widya using the BSNP criteria that based on the 77 criteria and 93 items contained in the BSNP textbook criteria, 72 items were found fulfills the criteria. Therefore, the percentage obtained from these results as a whole, calculated by the researcher using a percentage formula, is 77.53%, according to the table 'textbook eligibility criteria based on percentage results', the "Let's Get It!" textbook published by Yrama Widya is suitable for use as a learning medium for seventh-grade students in English subject.

Based on the result, the researcher would like to give some suggestions. The English teacher must know in advance whether the textbook will be used as learning material and whether the theme, material, appearance, and difficulty level are suitable for the students to be taught. Authors and publishers must pay attention to and consider the appropriateness of the theme, material, appearance, and difficulty level by students who will become textbook users. The researcher expects that similar research will often be carried out, with different textbooks as research subjects and different criteria, considering the importance of textbook analysis in learning, especially for English subjects.
