Edamame (Glycine max L. Merr.) is a potential crop that needs to be developed because it has an average production of 3.5 tons ha-1 higher than the production of ordinary soybeans. Edamame contains protein, organic compounds such as folic acid, manganese, isoflavones, beta carotene, and sucrose. The determining factor for success in cultivating edamame is the attack of Plant Pest Organisms (OPT) in the form of pests which can reduce soybean yields by up to 80%. Providing liquid organic fertilizer (POC) is an effort to increase plant resistance to attacks by Plant Pest Organisms (OPT) as well as increasing production. This research aims to determine the effect of administering several concentrations of POC JH in reducing the intensity of damage to edamame soybean cultivation in the growth phase. This research was carried out from August to October 2023 on the Mandiri Idaman Permai Farming Women's Group Land, Jalan Trikora RT 05/RW 05 Banjarbaru. The research was carried out using a Randomized Group Design (RAK) consisting of 5 POC JH concentration treatments. The results of the research showed that giving various concentrations of POC JH had a real effect, where giving POC JH at 0.5% was the best concentration that could reduce the lowest edamame pest damage, both on leaf damage intensity variables (2.8%; 4.22%, 5 .89%) and the percentage of infected pods (1.33%).
