Rice plant chlorophyll is one of the determining factors in the process of plant growth and development, as the place where photosynthesis plays a role in capturing light, converting inorganic compounds into nutrients needed by plants. The obstacle to cultivating rice on peat soil is high soil acidity, the need for ameliorants including rice husk ash, sawdust ash and empty palm fruit bunch ash to increase soil fertility. This research aims to determine the effect of POC jakaba application on the chlorophyll content of aromatic milk mentic rice in peat soil based on the type of ash ameliorant and to determine the effect of POC jakaba on increasing the chlorophyll content of aromatic milk mentic rice in peat soil based on the type of ash ameliorant. This stud used a nested factorial completely randomized design (CRD), the jakaba POC application factor was nested in the type of ash ameliorant. The ameliorant type factor (s) consists of four treatments: so = no ameliorant, S1 = rice husk ash, S2 = sawdust wood ash, s3 = empty oil palm bunch ash. The dose factor for POC jakaba application (j) consists of two treatments: jo = without application of POC jakaba, j1 = application of POC jakaba 15 mL1. The results of the study showed that the application of POC jakaba did not have a real effect on the chlorophyll content of aromatic milk mentic rice in peat soil based on the type of ash ameliorant. Application of ash ameliorant to peat soil planted with milk aromatic rice can increase the chlorophyll b content and total chlorophyll of rice. Treatment without ash ameliorant (so) can increase the chlorophyll b content and total chlorophyll content of rice by 16,45 mg mL1 and 15,27 mg mL1 respectively compared to the treatment of rice husk ash (s1), sawdust wood ash (s2), and empty palm fruit bunch ash (S3).
