Pakcoy is a leafy vegetable that is resistant to hot weather, so it can be grown in lowland and highland areas with an altitude of 100 - 1,000 meters above sea level. Pakcoy is a plant that can be planted throughout the year because it has good resistance to rainwater. The function of planting media in hydroponic cultivation is as a place to grow and a temporary storage place for nutrients and water needed for plant growth. This study aims to determine the replacement media for rockwool on the growth and yield of Pakkoy (Brassica rapa L.) plants in the hydroponic system. To determine the best rockwool replacement media for the growth and yield of pakcoy (Brassica rapa L.) plants in the hydroponic system. This research will be conducted for 2 months, from August to September 2022. Located in the hydroponic greenhouse of Berkat Banua Farm II Gg. Swarga RT. 04 Landasan Ulin Banjarbaru South Kalimantan. This study used a single factor randomized group design (RAK), each treatment was repeated 5 times, so the treatment of planting media had no effect on the growth of Pakcoy mustard plants such as plant height and number of leaves 6 HST, 12 HST and 18 HST, but had an effect on leaf width parameters at 24 HST. The best treatment to replace rockwool planting media is M2, M3 and M5, namely cocopeat, husk charcoal and sengon wood powder because the manufacturing process is easier and more economical in its use.
