SUMMARY

ANALYSIS OF CW251 B11 TYPE GAS TURBIN PERFORMANCE IN BALI DEVELOPMENT SECTOR GAS ELECTRICITY DEVELOPMENT SYSTEM

 

Power plan has an important role in the electricity supply bussiness, one of them is PLTG Bali which is Java – Bali unit power owned by PT Indonesia Power (Persero). By using gas turbine Westing house CW 251B11 type, this work continously to generate maximum power in generating electricity. In terms working to have maximum power continously, gas turbine must always in good performance. To get best performance is doing routine maintenance. In terms of this is to avoid breakdown suddenly which effect to the power. This final project aims to know performance before and after repairing.

The result of final project research shows that different escalation occurred after repairing. This can proven by calculation and analysis of data which obtained before repairing the efficiency 82,5% and work 633,226 kJ/kg, and after repairing the efficiency 87,4% and work 716,7845 kJ/kg.
