The porpuse of this research of determine the effect of company age on underpricing, the effect of company size on underpricing, the effect of return on assets on underpricing and the effect of earning per share on underpricing at the time of the initial public offering (IPO) on trading company registered on the Indonesian on 2017.

This research was quantitative research. The population in this study is company at the time of the initial public offering in indonesian stock exchange on 2017.  Sampling technique that used in this study was purvosive sampling. The number of samples used in this study was 33 companies from total 37 companies at the time of initial public offering in indonesian stock exchange on 2017. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistical analysis, the classical assumption test, and multiple linear regression analysis.

The results showed that company age was not affect the underpricing, company size affected the underpricing, return on assets affected the underpricing and earning per share was not affect the underpricing.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh umur perusahaan terhadap underpricing saham, pengaruh ukuran perusahaan terhadap underpricing saham, pengaruh return on assets terhadap underpricing saham dan pengaruh earning per share terhadap underpricing saham saat perusahaan melakukan initial public offering (IPO) di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) tahun 2017.

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah perusahaan yang melakukan initial public offering (IPO) di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada tahun 2017. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel berjumlah 33 perusahaan dari 37 perusahaan yang melakukan initial public offering (IPO) di Bursa Efek Indonesia pada tahun 2017. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis statistik deskriptif data, uji asumsi klasik dan analisis regresi linear berganda.

Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa umur perusahaan tidak berpengaruh  signifikan terhadap underpricing saham, ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap underpricing saham, return on assets berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap underpricing saham dan earning per share tidak berpengaruh  signifikan terhadap underpricing saham.
