Area Forest have variety variation cover land . Start from cover land very 

meeting , meeting , medium and to cover land very rarely ( no many vegetation or 

cover land almost open ) . Aim from researchthis for analyze character physics soi

l covers solum ground , depth effective roots , bulk density, particle density , 

percent rock, percent roots and pH as additional information . The analysis used 

was a factorial analysis and a follow-up test, namely LSD test 

The results showed that the vegetation of shrub land had a lower solum 

compared to the old shrub cover. The effective depth of roots in old shrub land 

cover is higher than on vegetated bush land . BD, PD and Porosity values have 

similar data or are homogeneous. Percent roots in old shrubs are more compared 

to bush vegetated land. Percent roots and percent of rocks show a good 

relationship on vegetated land, shrubs or old shrubs, which are more and more 

rocks, the number of roots decreases. Soil pH on vegetated land shrubs have high 

acidity compared to old scrub land.
