ABSTRACT

              Shindy Tri Mardiantini Utilization Of Fishery Resources. 
Stock Assesment And Season Patterns Of (Rastrelliger sp) Which Are Landed At 
The Fish Landing Base (PPI) Muara Kintap under the guidance of Erwin Rosadi as
 chairman of the guidance and Siti Aminah as a member of the supervisor.      

               This study aims to assess the resource stok of Rastrelliger spwhich are landed 
in the PPI Muara Kintap. Methods of collecting data in the form of surveys and interview
s through questionnaires. Data analysis method used in the form of CPUE analysis, satndaritatio
n of fishing gear, MSY analysis, analysis of utilization rates and analysis of fishing seasin 
patterns. This research was conducted for 5th month from March to July, at the Muara Kintap
 Fish landing Base, Kintap District, Tanah Laut Regency. The researcher found the value of 
CPUE on purse seine was 257,61 kg/trip, drift gillnet was 63,71 kg/trip and bottom trawl 
was 0,19 kg/trip. The standardized fishing gear is purse seine. The value of MSY in the 5th 
years period was 251,442.49 kg. Average utilization rate of 63%. The peak season of catching 
rastrelliger sp in WPP 712 occurs in October – April, famine occus in May – June and August 
– September, while the season is happening in July. Recommendations given include fisherman 
making fishing efforts in March (Highest peak) and the need for further research on analytic stock 
assessment.
