ABSTRACT

In the construction of  civil engineering construction, land has a very important role. The soil together with the foundation system functions as a weight barrier due to the construction above it. The foundation system is the lowest structure of the construction that holds the load above it and delivers the load to the ground below it. Therefore, the analysis of the carrying capacity of the soil in holding the load it receives is very important to consider in a construction plan. Analysis of soil carrying capacity depends on the dimensions of the foundation system plan. The foundation as a medium that distributes structural loads to the soil layer beneath it greatly determines the carrying capacity of the soil.

The research method is used to compare the bearing capacity of the pole pile with the drill pile foundation. From these results we determined the capacity of the piles and drill poles.

The results of this study that the bearing capacity of the pile foundation that I reviewed was 96.64 tons on type A foundation, 412.56 tons on type B foundation, 156.11 tons on type C, 650.64 tons on type D foundation, 729.99 tons on type E foundations, 237.89 tons on type F foundations. The carrying capacity of the drill pile foundation that I reviewed was 50.06 tons on type A foundation, 149.10 tons on type B, 50.06 tons on type C, 162.50 tons on type D foundation, 221.13 tons on type E foundation, 71,71 tons on type F foundation. From the results of the analysis of mining, it can be concluded that the pile foundation is larger than the drill pile foundation. As seen in table 4.15 the type of pile A foundation has a carrying capacity of 96.64, and the drill pile foundation has a carrying capacity smaller than the pile of 50.06. The type of pile B foundation has a carrying capacity of 412.56, and the drill pile foundation has a carrying capacity smaller than the pile of 149.10. The type of pile C foundation has a carrying capacity of 156.11, and the pile drill foundation has a carrying capacity smaller than the pile of 50.06. The type of pile D foundation has a carrying capacity of 650.63, and the drill pile foundation has a carrying capacity smaller than the pile of 162.50. The type of pile E foundation has a carrying capacity of 729.99, and the drill pile foundation has a carrying capacity smaller than the pile of 221.13. The type of pile F foundation has a carrying capacity of 237.88, and the drill pile foundation has a carrying capacity smaller than the pile of 71.71. So that from the comparison of the two foundations, it can be concluded that the pile foundation can withstand greater force than the drill pile foundation. From the results of using PCA Col applications with quality reinforcement fy = 400 Mpa and concrete quality FC '= 25 Mpa obtained from the drill pole reinforcement for type A, namely longitudinal reinforcement using eight reinforcement with 22 mm diameter while shear reinforcement using reinforcement with 16 mm diameter with distance of 100 mm.
